[Multi-culture News] Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation will award scholarships to students of multicultural families

Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation announced on the 17th that it would select 600 scholarship students this year and provide a total of 1.15 billion won.

The target of support is the children of multicultural families.

The Academic Scholarship is made to support elementary, middle, high school, and university students. 580 students will be selected.

The size of scholarships that students will receive varies by age. Elementary school students will receive 1 million won. Middle school students, high school students, and university students can receive 1.5 million won, 2.5 million won, and 4.5 million won respectively.

The Speciality Scholarship is designed to support children of multicultural families between the ages of 8 and 25 who have special skills in the field of art, athletics, language, and technology. Selected scholarship students will receive 5 million won.

Applications will be processed through the website of the Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation until May 3, and the final selection will be announced in June after document screening.

[다문화뉴스] 우리다문화장학재단, 내달 3일까지 다문화가정 장학생 공모

우리금융그룹 우리다문화장학재단은 올해 장학생 600명을 선발해 총 11억 5천만 원을 지원한다고 17일 밝혔다.

지원대상은 다문화가족지원법상 다문화가족 자녀다.

'학업장학금'은 초·중·고·대학 과정 비용을 지원하는데, 총 580명을 선발한다.

장학금은 연령별로 상이하며 초등학생은 100만 원, 중학생 150만 원, 고등학생 250만 원, 대학생은 450만 원을 지원받게 된다..

'특기장학금'은 예·체능, 어학, 기술 등 특기를 보유하고 있으며 직업 및 진로와 관련해 명확한 목표와 성과가 있는 8세 이상 25세 이하 다문화 자녀 20명을 선발해 지원한다. 선발된 장학생은 500만 원을 지원받는다.

신청은 5월 3일까지 우리다문화장학재단 홈페이지를 통해 진행되며 서류 심사를 거쳐 6월 중 최종 선정자가 발표될 예정이다.
